Sashita could not function without the dedication and hard work of our volunteers. All the trustees are volunteers and we have a small group of non-trustee volunteers, who help with making craft items to sell, supermarket collections, and sponsored events.
We desperately need new volunteers and would be delighted to welcome anyone who feels committed to help in whatever way possible.
We have insurance cover for volunteers and have a volunteer policy, risk and health & safety protocols in place.
We work closely with the Volunteer Centre Edinburgh, and are currently advertising some “volunteering opportunities” with them.
